---- Joint Hydrographic surveys conducted by the then APERL of United Andhra Pradesh and KERS of Karnataka in Thungabhadra reservoir have benefited the United Andhra Pradesh by 10 TMC of water.
---- The Full Reservoir Level of Nizam Sagar Reservoir was raised by 4.5’ ( from +1400.5’ to 1405.00’ ) to cater to the ayacut demands based on the Hydrographic Surveys conducted by these labs during 1970.
The afforestation programme in the Nizam Sagar catchment was also consequential to the Hydrographic survey of these labs.
REMOTE SENSING LABORATORY
A critical study on Somasila Reservoir by using Visual and Digital Intepretation Techniques was made, for which a Merit Certificate was awarded to this organization in the year 1984.
